This mod is more forgiving in terms of being able to respawn at any death. You respawn at the last health spot you picked up assuming you have a respawn left. You can pick which one if you get this mod. You can choose one that maxes out on one respawn. When you die your only option is to start over. No, you can't it's one continuous "iron man" save per life, once you die that's it, there's nowhere for the game to load from. If you quit a game in progress from the ESC menu, there should absolutely be a "continue" button when you start the game again. Then don't press New? There's a "continue" option when you click "save and quit," I don't understand.
